To my loving family and God almighty,
Today I was having a discussion with my partner about family planning. I am turning 25 next week and I am planning on getting Tubal Ligation for my birthday. We were discussing our future together and I asked him “How do you feel about me getting Tubal ligation?” and he replied “What is tubal ligation?” Then I said “It is when you undergo a procedure in which you get your Fallopian tubes twisted” “Is that a form of family planning?” he replied in shock. He was against the whole idea as it is against Catholicism. Although he is very against it, it is what best suits me and my lifestyle. I haven’t discussed it with my family yet, I think they would disagree because they are very religious people but after I explain to them that it is my body and choices, they should respect my decision. God will always stand by me and my decisions just as my family and partner should.
